Luis Anibal is a second-generation coffee grower and was one of the first farmers in Huila to produce high-end micro-lots as well as master alternative processing methods such as extended fermentation, honey and natural. He now owns the 20 hectare Villa Betulia farm with all sorts of exotic varietals including Gesha, Tabi, Red Bourbon and many more. In harvest he provides jobs to the people in his community.
This coffee was exposed to a dry aerobic fermentation of 24 hours before being placed inside Grainpro bags for 50 hours at a temperature below 22oC. Then the whole cherries were placed on raised beds until 11% moisture content was achieved.
